Why this exists

It started with curiosity: a friend took on a challenge to meditate every day, and I wanted to see what he saw. Meditation taught me to notice what I already have. The noticing became gratitude, and the gratitude became real happiness. I'm not done. This site is part of my own practice as much as it might become part of yours.

Questions

I've never meditated. Is this for me?

Yes. Start with the guided session. I recorded it for people starting from zero, and I guide you through every minute.

What if my mind wanders?

Mine wanders too. Noticing it and coming back is the whole practice.

How long is it?

The guided session is ten minutes. On your own, you choose: five minutes to an hour, and a soft gong brings you back.

Can I sit without the guidance?

Yes. Choose on your own, set your time, and sit in silence. If it helps, a gong can mark each minute and a low pulse can hum underneath.

Do I need an account?

No. It plays right here, with no sign-up and no payment.

Can I sit with other people?

Soon. Leave your email on the live page and I will write to you when a group session comes together.

Can I install it as an app?

Yes. It can live on your home screen and open like any app. On an iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.

Does it work without internet?

After your first listen, yes. The meditation and the page it plays on both stay on your device, so it opens and plays even when you are offline.

Practicing Dana

In Buddhist tradition, dana is the practice of generosity: teachings are offered freely, and whoever receives them gives something back so the next person can receive too. This site will never ask for money. If the meditation gave you something, pass it on. Share it with one person who could use ten quiet minutes.
